It's really easy. Just click the "Join Now" link on the index page and

Why haven't I received my password through email? How can I log in?
For security reasons, we send these to the email address you put on
your registration form. If there is any mistake in this email address,
(and this happens surprisingly often) new members will not receive their
passwords. In this situation, you need to fill in the help form on the
contact page. Give us your name and surname and your correct email
address, and we will send you your password.

I have tried to log in with my screen name and password. Why can't I get access to the site?
This can be caused by several reasons:
- Usernames and passwords are case sensitive and must be entered
exactly as given. This means that an "M" is different than an "m".
- Sometimes letter "l" may be mistaken as the number one, or visa versa.
- Sometimes an uppercase "i" may be mistaken as a lowercase "l", or visa versa.
- Sometimes letter "o" may be mistaken as a zero, or visa versa.
- Sometimes letter "q" is mistaken for a "g", or visa versa.
- Sometimes a space is inadvertantly entered at the end of either the username or password or both.
- Sometimes your browser's cache will retain a past incorrect attempt.
You may have to reload your browser, close and reopen your browser or
reboot your computer.
- Check you have a reasonably up-to-date version of your browser. If
you need a newer version, you can normally download free upgrades. Use
the following links to find new or updated versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator, Opera or Mozilla.

I forgot my password. What can I do?
Enter the email address that you joined with on the form that says "Forgot your password?" near the bottom of the login page. We will immediately send your password to this address.

Do I have to answer all the questions in the questionnaire?
In a word, no! Some of you who may have used other matchmaking sites
have had to grapple with lots of personal questions which take hours to
fill in but don't necessarily produce the finest results. We have
started with some initial questions which are required (they are marked
with *), but after that you decide what you want to say about yourself.
The more questions you answer, the more accurate, the matching can be.
If you answer fewer questions, the net can be cast a lot wider. You
don't have to answer them all in one go. You may find you want to take
more time to answer some of the questions. The best thing is to fill in
the required questions first so your membership is established and then
come back to the other questions when you have had more time to think.
It's a good idea to review your profile from time to time.

If a member asks for money should I send it?
Absolutely not! If a member asks for money, in any amount, this is a
clear indication that it is a scam. Please forward us the name of this
member.

Why have a photo?
All the statistics say that you are around 6 times more likely to get a
response if you post a photo with your details. Read more about this here.

Can I change my personal profile?
You may change your details at any time. Simply login to your Member Home page and choose Edit User Info, Edit Profile and Edit Match links to change the information about yourself or about your match.
It's often a good idea to review your profile regularly and make sure you have said what you want to say.

How can I add a photo?
Login to your Member Home page and choose My Photos link and you can delete an old photo or upload a new one.

Is there any kind of limit on the number of emails I can send?
If you're a Full member you can send as many emails as you want.

What limitations do I have in creating my profile description?
The number of characters allowed to be used in each section is posted
and limited. Please do not use email addresses or make reference to AOL,
MSN, ICQ, YAHOO, or any Instant Messenger System anywhere on our site.
All profiles are checked on the site when created. Any information like
this will be removed. MatchUSA reserves the right to delete any profile
it finds to be offensive or degrades the site in anyway. Cursing will
not be tolerated.

What about refunds?
We cannot refund membership fees to members who decide to cancel their
membership before the end of their subscription period.

What can I do to protect my own privacy and security on MatchUSA?
At MatchUSA, we are continually doing our best to protect your security
from where we are but you can do a great deal more.
When you have finished using MatchUSA on a public computer or a shared
computer, to avoid people seeing details about you, make sure you
log-off completely out of the site. There is a logout button at the
bottom of each page.

Why is my email address needed?
That confidential information is used by our site to send you
confirmations of payments received and subscription renewal reminders.
Your email address is also used when other site members wish to send an
email to you through the Anonymous email system.

How does the Anonymous email system work?
You send emails from our site to other members by their username used on our site.

How do I cancel my membership?
If you wish to be removed from our system click the "Cancel My
Membership" link on the left. This will bring you to the cancellation
process.
